*Psalm 121:1-8 (Original words from the 16th century Czech Bible of Kralice)

Pozdvihuji očí svých k horám,

Odkud by mi přišla pomoc.

Pomoc má jest od Hospodina,

Kterýž učinil nebe i zemi.

Nedopustít’, aby se pohnouti

Měla noha Tvá,

Nebo nedřímet’ strážný Tvůj.

Aj, nedřímet’, ovšem nespí ten,

Kterýž ostříhá Izraele.

I will lift mine eyes upon the mountains

whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from God

Who hath made the earth and the heavens.

He will not suffer thy feet to be moved nor thy steps to stumble.

He that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, the keeper of Israel is He that slumbers not

Nor sleeps.
